Warugokushu Festival has once again shown its commitment in supporting local artists and creators by extending the opening hours of the art market during the festival. After establishing an agreement with SMESCO Indonesia as the venue, Wagufest ensures that the art market will operate for 12 hours a day, giving more freedom for visitors to explore the various artworks and creative products on display.
This decision was made after the Warugokushu Festival team evaluated various previous events, where often the limited event time left visitors with less opportunity to explore the art market and booths/tenants to the fullest. By extending the opening time, it is hoped that visitors will not only come to enjoy the stage performances, but also appreciate the creative works exhibited by the artists and MSMEs.
In addition, Warugokushu Festival also emphasises that there will be no forced closure of booths/tenants or art markets prematurely, unless the venue has to close and as long as it complies with the rules. This gives circles the opportunity to exchange creations and visit other booths without rushing.
With this policy, Warugokushu Festival hopes to become a more inclusive platform for artists and creators to perform in front of a large audience, while opening up new opportunities for them in the future. The festival is also open to any feedback to ensure the event runs smoothly and can be enjoyed by as many people as possible.
