Introducing Warugokushu Festival 2025's Main Character: Aozora Bhaskara, the Enthusiast Wandering the City!

Warugokushu Festival 2025 presents the official illustrations of this year's big festival. This illustration is the result of collaboration with professional artists, which is also a form of our dedication to fully support the artist ecosystem in the country. In keeping with this year's theme, the illustration features a figure who is happy and enthusiastic about the culture and side of the host metropolis, Jakarta.

"Aozora Bhaskara, an enterprising teenager who enjoys adventuring in the metropolitan city. So many customs and cultures are seen amongst the city life. Sweet, smiling he sees the joyful laughter colouring the day. Bitter, it is a pity to see those who are full of hope for a better life.

If only one day there was a hope... Hope that makes people happy. A moment that is believed to brighten the dark side of humanity...

Until a star is believed to fall in the city sky. A city with a million stories. Aozora Bhaskara, was excited to welcome it. Wherever he went, the hope continued to grow, impatient for the day to come."

This illustration is also our way of encouraging people to use public transport, as the venue of Warugokushu Festival 2025 is located in the city centre. We encourage people, especially fans and creatives with Japanese themes, to use public transport together. That is also why we considered a venue where people can easily and conveniently reach various mass transport options.
